HBOI has complete design, fabrication, quality control and testing facilities for the production
of pressure vessels to meet the needs of the US military, oceanographic and commercial communities.
We maintain here at our Fort Pierce facility the shop space, lathes, drills, presses, saws,
grinders, hydraulic test stands, etc. necessary to support specialized and precision
fabrication from steel, aluminum stainless steel, titanium, bronze, and all manner of
plastics and composites.
The design department uses computer aided design/drafting tools and computer analysis software to produce pressure vessels designed to meet the specifications of our customers and the standards specified by regulator agencies such as the American Bureau of Shipping and the USCG. These pressure vessel designs often include optical view ports for camera and laser applications, hemispherical end caps, and depth ratings up to full ocean depths.
